World Cheerleading Association
The Staff at WCA has conducted camps and competitions for over 40 years. Over the years WCA has operated in the USA, Germany, England, Ireland and Scotland. Over 5,000 squads have competed at WCA Nationals (formerly known as IOCC/IODC).
 
 
In the Beginning
In 1995, ICA, the International Cheerleading Association, closed its doors when its parent company, Youth America, Inc. decided to leave the cheerleading industry. A window of opportunity opened for us, the former staff of ICA. Our love for cheerleading led Stephanie & Mark French to create the employee owned and operated World Cheerleading Association. The philosophy and spirit that brought many of you to ICA is carried on through WCA.

 
And then there was WCA
WCA was officially introduced at the 1995 IOCC/IODC competition held in Nashville, Tennessee. WCA now produces this world famous event that has presented over $1,000,000 in scholarships and awards over the past 25 years.
